The index of a perturbed Dirac operator on non-compact manifolds

The classical Atiyah-Singer index theory is about the Fredholm index of an elliptic operator on a closed manifold. It can be generalized to a perturbed Dirac operator on a non-compact manifold, namely the Callias index theorem. We will talk about this result as well as the Callias index with Atiyah-Patodi-Singer boundary condition.
