Abstract: In this talk, we will recall the history of the Brunn-Minkowski theory and how to solve the Minkowski problem by using Aleksandrov’s variational method, the continuity method and geometric flow. In particular, we discuss a recent joint work with Chuanqiang Chen and Yiming Zhao using the anisotropic Gauss curvature flow to study the regularity of the Lp dual Minkowski problem.
