School Colloquium——An Analytic Grothendieck Riemann Roch Theorem

Abstract: In this talk, we will introduce an extension of the Toeplitz index theorem to complex
manifold with isolated singularities following the relative K-homology theory of Baum, Douglas,
and Taylor for manifold with boundary. As an application, we will use this index theorem to study
the Arveson-Douglas conjecture. This is joint work with R. Douglas，M. Jabbari and G. Yu.
