Regularity of Hamiltonian Stationary Lagrangian Submanifolds in a Symplectic Manifold

Abstract: We prove a C^1 regular Hamiltonian stationary Lagrangian submanifold in a symplectic manifold is smooth. We achieve this by developing an elliptic theory for the fourth order equation in a double divergence form.
