Soliton resolution for wave type equations

Abstract: Soliton resolution conjecture states roughly that the resonable solution will be resolved asymptotically into the superposition of the soliton solutions plus a radiation term. There has been a lot of progress in this field in recent years, in particular for energy critical wave equations and wave maps. In this talk, we will introduce some recent results on the soliton resolution for some wave type equations.
