Part 2: One dimensional FUP for regular sets.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n

     For convex co-compact hyperbolic surfaces, Dyatlov-Zahl showed that the existence of essential spectral gap follows from a FUP for the limit sets. The Patterson-Sullivan theory shows that the limit set is David-Ahlfors regular. In this talk, we discuss recent results by Bourgain-Dyatlov and Dyatlov-Jin on FUP for regular sets in one dimension and applications to convex co-compact hyperbolic surfaces.<\/span>\n<\/div>
