Abstract: We calculate the fundamental group of the moduli space of quadratic differentials on a Riemann surface S with pre-described singularities. As an application, we show that the spaces of stability conditions on the Calabi-Yau-3 categories associated to S, which is a subcategory of certain derived Fukaya category, is simply connected. This is a joint work with Alastair King.
